Saturday August 22, was the Fifth annual Abstract Concrete Grafitti throwdown at Bancroft Street Market. 8 teams competed. The brilliant concrete barriers will be on display for a year.
On Saturday August 22, 2015 Bancroft Street Market hosted the Importance of Impermanence chalk event. Artists collaborated to create a colorful, swirling, large scale, improvisational, work. Chalking started at 8:30 A.M. and by noon the artists had completed. Using chalk that the artists had prepared from basic materials the artists were able to create a vibrant piece.
