2702 S. 10th Street
Omaha, 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Break out your battery-powered string lights, gloves, and balaclavas! It’s that time of year to decorate your bike and ride around downtown and midtown Omaha to see the holiday lights!
This is the 8th Annual Bike De’Lights, a social ride at a casual/conversational pace, enjoying holiday decorated homes and displaying decorated bicycles. Participants are encouraged to layer in warm and casual street clothes. For your safety, lights and bicycle helmets are required. This is a nighttime ride on public streets. Nebraska law requires you to have a white front light and a red rear reflector when riding after dark. In addition, a red tail light and light/reflective clothing strongly recommended! (And highly luminescent, over the top holiday decor will be rewarded) You are riding and at your own risk and will be required to sign a liability waiver to participate. Bicycle helmets are required! (Our insurance makes do this!)
Route information is still being finalized at this time, but the start and finish will be at Bancroft Street Market, 2702 South 10th Street. Warm drinks and light snacks will be provided. More details as they happen!
In addition to the ride, we will be having our volunteer awards and prize drawings!
Above all, please be safe and have fun! Yay bikes!
