Bancroft Street Market welcomes 1880 House, a non-profit, to South 10th Street. The house, two blocks north of Bancroft Street Market, is located at 2326 South 10th Street in Omaha. The frame house, constructed in the 1880’s, is being restored. An item of historical significance of the structure is that it was the early childhood home of Adele Austerlitz and Frederick Austerlitz. Later they became known as Fred Astaire and Adele Astaire.
