Bancroft Street Market teaches the art of making chalk drawings on pavement. The craft requires learning how to grid an original art work, make a corresponding grid on the pavement and then transfer the original work to the pavement grid. The art requires study of chalk types and coloring. The workshops are held outdoors on the third Saturday of the month. The last one for 2023 will be September 16, 2023. The workshop is free. It is held from 10:00 A.M. until noon.
